Brandon J. Dirden Biography
Brandon J. Dirden (born 1978) is an American actor known for his work on stage and screen. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Martin Luther King Jr. in the Broadway production of Robert Schenkkan's All the Way. Dirden graduated from Morehouse College and the University of Illinois before making his Broadway debut in Prelude to a Kiss. He has since appeared in various plays, including Clybourne Park, The First Breeze of Summer, and Detroit 67. On television, Dirden played the role of Dennis Aderholt in The Americans. He has received several awards and nominations for his performances, including an OBIE Award and Theater World Award for his portrayal of Boy Willie in August Wilson's The Piano Lesson revival.
