He has also appeared in feature films such as She's the Man, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, and Dead Before Dawn. McLaren rose to prominence in 2005 with his main role as Jack Landors/Red SPD Ranger in Power Rangers S.P.D. He has since taken on diverse roles in both film and television. McLaren was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and holds a bachelor's degree in Human Biology from the University at Albany, SUNY.
