Brandon Maggart Biography
Brandon Maggart (born December 12, 1933) is an American actor, painter, and author. Born Roscoe Maggart, Jr., in Carthage, Tennessee, Maggart began his acting career in the early 1950s at the University of Tennessee. He gained recognition for his performance in the musical revue, Put it in Writing, which earned him a Theatre World Award. Maggart appeared on the first season of Sesame Street as Buddy in the 'Buddy and Jim' sketches. He received a Tony Award nomination for his role in the musical Applause in 1970. Some of his notable film appearances include Dressed to Kill (1980) and Christmas Evil (1980). Maggart also appeared in the TV series Jennifer Slept Here in 1983.
