The pilot episode was financed by Medrano's Patreon followers and gained popularity, leading to a spin-off series called Helluva Boss. The first season of Hazbin Hotel will be produced by A24 and Amazon MGM Studios.

Bosco is a biographical drama film based on the true story of Quawntay “Bosco” Adams, who managed to escape from a Federal maximum-security prison while under 24-hour surveillance. The film depicts his escape with the help of an older woman he met through a lonely-hearts ad.
