Brandon Victor Dixon Biography
Brandon Victor Dixon (born September 23, 1981) is an American actor, singer, and theatrical producer. He has gained recognition for his Tony Award-nominated performances on Broadway, including his roles as Harpo in The Color Purple (2005), Eubie Blake in Shuffle Along, or, the Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed (2016), and Berry Gordy Jr. in Motown: The Musical (2013). Dixon also portrayed Aaron Burr in the Broadway production of Hamilton (2016). In addition to his stage work, he has appeared in the Off-Broadway production of The Scottsboro Boys and received a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for his role as Hayward Patterson. Dixon has also produced successful Broadway revivals, including Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Of Mice and Men (2014).
