Brec Bassinger

Brec Bassinger is an American actress born on May 25, 1999, in Saginaw, Texas. She gained recognition for her recurring role as Emma in the Nickelodeon series The Haunted Hathaways from 2013 to 2014. Bassinger then starred as Bella Dawson, the lead character in the Nickelodeon television series Bella and the Bulldogs from 2015 to 2016. More recently, she portrayed the title role in the American superhero TV series Stargirl, which aired from 2020 to 2022 on DC Universe and The CW. Before her acting career, Bassinger was a competitive cheerleader and also participated in beauty pageants, winning the Our Little Miss World title. She was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 8.
