Brenda Dickson

Brenda Dickson is an American actress known for originating the role of Jill Foster Abbott on the popular soap opera The Young and the Restless. She was born in Long Beach, California and began her career as a teenager, touring Southeast Asia with Bob Hope to entertain the armed forces. At the age of 17, she won the title of Miss California USA in the Miss World pageant. Despite receiving acting offers, she chose to continue performing in USO shows while studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles. Dickson made her stage debut at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and went on to appear in various stage roles in the Los Angeles area. She also made appearances in films such as Deathmaster and had guest roles on several TV shows including Men at Law, The F.B.I., Love, American Style, Here We Go Again, and Falcon Crest.
