Brenda Epperson

Brenda Epperson (born September 9, 1965) is an American actress and singer. She gained recognition for her role as Ashley Abbott on the CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless, becoming the second actress to portray the character. Epperson's father, Don Epperson, was a country singer and co-starred with John Wayne in Big Jake. Following her father's sudden death in 1973, Brenda's mother raised her and her sister. Epperson released her book, Rise Up!, in 2021. In addition to her acting career, Epperson signed with Sony Tri-Star Music, opened for Lionel Richie, and toured Europe. Recently, she has been filming the 5th season of the BET+ series The Rich and the Ruthless and hosts her own podcast.
