Brenda Strong

Brenda Strong (born March 25, 1960) is an American actress. She began her career in television, with guest starring appearances in popular shows such as Twin Peaks, Party of Five, Seinfeld, Scandal, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Blossom, and Sports Night. Strong had supporting roles in films like Starship Troopers, Black Dog, The Deep End of the Ocean, Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation, and The Work and the Glory. However, she is best known for her role as Mary Alice Young in the ABC television comedy-drama series Desperate Housewives, for which she received two Emmy Award nominations. Strong also starred as Ann Ewing in the TNT prime time soap opera Dallas and has appeared in The 100 and Supergirl.
