Brendan McCarthy

Brendan McCarthy is a British artist and designer known for his work in comic books, film, and television. He co-wrote the critically acclaimed film Mad Max: Fury Road and has collaborated with his brother, Jim McCarthy. Born in London, McCarthy showed an early interest in drawing and went on to study film and Fine Art Painting at Chelsea Art College. He gained recognition for his independent comic book Sometime Stories, created with his art college friend Brett Ewins. McCarthy's work includes contributions to 2000 AD, where he worked on Judge Dredd, and the creation of Sooner or Later and Freakwave. McCarthy has also held exhibitions of his paintings, drawings, and collages at various galleries in London.
