Brendan Murray is an Irish singer and former member of the Irish boy band HomeTown. He was born on November 16, 1996, in Tuam, County Galway. Murray attended St Patrick's Primary School and St Jarlath's College in Tuam. In 2014, he joined the boy band HomeTown, managed by Louis Walsh. The band achieved success in Ireland with number one singles like 'Where I Belong' and 'Cry for Help.' Their debut album, 'HomeTown,' reached number four on the Irish charts. Murray represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song 'Dying to Try.' He later competed in The X Factor (UK) in 2018 and was eliminated as the twelfth contestant.
