    Brendan Scannell (born June 20, 1990) is an American actor and comedian known for his lead roles in popular TV series. He gained recognition for portraying Heather Duke in the Paramount Network series Heathers (2018) and Pete Devon in the Netflix dark comedy series Bonding (2019–2021). Scannell received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Actor In A Short Form Comedy Or Drama Series for his performance in Bonding. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was raised in Valparaiso, Indiana. Scannell studied theatre at Northwestern University and began his career in Chicago before relocating to Los Angeles in 2013. In addition to his TV work, he has appeared in indie films such as Straight Up.
