Brendan Walsh

Brendan Walsh is an American chef known for his expertise in southwestern cuisine. Born in 1959, Walsh grew up in the Bronx, New York City, and later attended Ridgefield High School in Connecticut. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1980 and gained experience working at renowned restaurants such as Stars in San Francisco and Arizona 206 in New York City, where he served as the original chef. Walsh's culinary talent earned him recognition, including the prestigious James Beard Foundation Award for the 'Who's Who of Cooking in America.' Currently, as of 2020, he holds the position of Dean of the School of Culinary Arts at the Culinary Institute of America.
