Brent Briscoe Biography
Brent Briscoe (May 21, 1961 – October 18, 2017) was an American character actor and screenwriter. He is best known for his role as JJ on the TV show 'Parks and Recreation' (2011-2015). Briscoe was born in Moberly, Missouri, and attended the University of Missouri. He began his career as a theater actor before transitioning into screenwriting and acting in feature films, notably working with Billy Bob Thornton on 'Sling Blade'. Throughout his career, Briscoe appeared in various TV shows and movies, including 'Evening Shade', 'The Right to Remain Silent', and 'Waking Up in Reno'. Briscoe passed away on October 18, 2017, at the age of 56, after complications from a fall resulting in internal bleeding and heart complications.
