Brett Davern Biography
Brett Davern is an American actor best known for his role as Jake Rosati on the MTV series Awkward. Born and raised in Edmonds, Washington, Davern discovered his passion for acting at a young age. He attended Edmonds-Woodway High School and honed his skills at the Stagedoor Manor Theatrical Training Center in New York. After graduating high school, he enrolled at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Davern's breakout role came in the film Beautiful Ohio, where he starred alongside William Hurt, Rita Wilson, and Julianna Margulies. He has also made guest appearances on popular TV shows such as CSI: Miami, Medium, NCIS, In Plain Sight, and Cold Case. Since 2011, Davern has portrayed Jake Rosati on Awkward., a critically acclaimed series that won a People's Choice Award for favorite cable comedy in 2013.
