Brett Goldstein Biography
Brett Goldstein (born 17 July 1980) is an English actor, comedian, writer, producer, and podcaster. He is known for his role as Roy Kent in the Apple TV+ sports comedy series Ted Lasso, for which he has won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for the show's first two seasons. Goldstein is also the co-creator of the upcoming comedy series Shrinking (2023). Born in London's Sutton suburb, he comes from a British Jewish family. He attended Sevenoaks School and later graduated from the University of Warwick with a degree in film studies. Goldstein honed his acting skills at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and gained recognition for his scriptwriting at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
