Brian Bonsall Biography
Brian Eric Bonsall (born December 3, 1981) is an American rock musician, singer, and guitarist, as well as a former child actor. He gained recognition for his roles as Andrew 'Andy' Keaton on the NBC sitcom Family Ties from 1986 to 1989 and as Alexander Rozhenko on Star Trek: The Next Generation from 1992 to 1994. Bonsall was born in Torrance, California, to Garth Bonsall and Kathleen Coleman. He received critical acclaim for his performances on Family Ties and won three Young Artist Awards. Bonsall made his feature film debut in 1992, starring as the titular character in the horror film Mikey, which generated controversy in the UK for its portrayal of a child killer.
