Brian Costello

Brian Costello (born 1984) is an Irish hurler who played as a full-back for the London county team. He began his inter-county hurling career with Galway's minor, under-21, intermediate, and senior teams, captaining the intermediate team in 2008. Costello emigrated to London in 2011 and joined the London senior hurling team. Throughout his career, he has achieved notable success, including winning one under-21 All-Ireland, one Christy Ring Cup, and one Nicky Rackard Cup. In 2012, he was named the Christy Ring Hurler of the Year and received a GPA All-Star for his contributions to the London Christy Ring winning team. Costello is also a two-time county senior championship medalist with St Gabriel's, having previously played with Abbeyknockmoy.
