Brian Timothy Geraghty is an American actor known for his roles in several notable films and TV shows. Born on May 13, 1975, in Toms River, New Jersey, Geraghty is of Irish descent. He graduated from Toms River High School East in 1993 and later studied acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in New York City. Geraghty made his professional debut in The Sopranos and went on to appear in films such as Jarhead, Bobby, The Guardian, We Are Marshall, and The Hurt Locker. He also had a recurring role in the HBO drama series Boardwalk Empire and was a regular on NBC's Chicago P.D. from 2014 to 2016. Geraghty played Theodore Roosevelt in the TV series The Alienist and was a main character on the ABC crime drama Big Sky from 2020 to 2022.
