    Brian Thomas Grazer (born July 12, 1951) is an American film and television producer. He co-founded Imagine Entertainment in 1986 with Ron Howard. Throughout his career, he has produced films that have collectively grossed over $15 billion. Grazer has received personal nominations for four Academy Awards for his produced films: Splash (1984), Apollo 13 (1995), A Beautiful Mind (2001), and Frost/Nixon (2008). Additionally, his films and TV series have earned a total of 47 Academy Award nominations and 217 Emmy Award nominations. In 2002, Grazer won an Oscar for Best Picture for A Beautiful Mind. He was also recognized as one of Time's "100 Most Influential People in the World" in 2007. Grazer was born in Los Angeles, California. He comes from a mixed religious background, with a Catholic father and Jewish mother.
