Brian Lee Harvey (born August 8, 1974) is a British singer and former lead singer of pop group East 17. He gained popularity in the late 1990s with the band's successor, E-17, which had two top 20 singles on the UK Singles Chart. Known for his R&B and new jack swing vocal style, Harvey was the frontman of the group and shared the position with the group's creator, Tony Mortimer. In 2001, Harvey released two solo singles under Edel Records. However, he is also remembered for his dismissal from East 17 in 1997 due to comments made during a radio interview about ecstasy use, causing a significant controversy in the media and parliament.
