Brian Hooks is an American actor, comedian, producer, and director. He was born on July 27, 1973. Hooks gained recognition for his role as Rob Douglas in the comedy film 3 Strikes, as well as for his portrayal of Nick Delaney in the UPN sitcom Eve. He also appeared as DJ in the 2004 movie Soul Plane. Hooks' acting career began with his starring role in the film Phat Beach in 1996. This success led to roles in other films such as High School High, Bulworth, Beloved, and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. He also made guest appearances on various television series including Cracker, NYPD Blue, Moesha, ER, and The Parkers. In addition to acting, Hooks has been involved in producing and directing low-budget straight-to-DVD films, including Nothin' 2 Lose.
