Brian Pettifer Biography
Brian Pettifer (born 1 January 1953) is a South African actor known for his appearances in television shows, stage productions, and films. He began his career as a child actor, featuring in BBC's This Man Craig, Dr Finlay's Casebook, and Madame Bovary. Inspired by these experiences, Pettifer pursued acting and made his film debut in Lindsay Anderson's if.... (1968). He went on to collaborate with Anderson in O Lucky Man! (1973) and Britannia Hospital (1982), portraying the character Biles. Pettifer's film credits include Amadeus (1984), A Christmas Carol (1984), Gulag (1985), Loch Ness (1996), and Vanity Fair (2004), among others.
