Brian Wecht Biography
Brian Alexander Wecht, also known as Ninja Brian, is an American musician, Internet personality, and theoretical physicist. He gained prominence as a member of the comedy musical duo Ninja Sex Party and the video game-based comedy music trio Starbomb. Wecht has also been a past member of the Let's Play webseries Game Grumps, alongside Dan Avidan. Before his career in entertainment, Wecht worked as a theoretical physicist, holding research positions at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of Michigan. Specializing in particle physics, he conducted research on topics including string theory, supersymmetry, and quantum field theory. Wecht retired from physics in 2015 to focus on his musical and entertainment career, and he is also the co-creator of The Story Collider, a science-based storytelling podcast.
