Born on August 10, 1994, in Dallas, Texas, Lundy-Paine is the child of actors and directors Laura Lundy and Robert Paine. They have a younger brother. Lundy-Paine moved to Alameda, California, with their family when they were two years old. They graduated from Encinal High School in 2012 and later attended New York University, graduating in 2015. Lundy-Paine came out as non-binary in 2019 and uses they/them pronouns. They are also known for their activism, including involvement in the Black Lives Matter movement.
