Brittany Underwood is an American actress and singer known for her roles as Langston Wilde on the soap opera One Life to Live and Loren Tate on Hollywood Heights. She was born on July 6, 1988, in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. Underwood's mother is Colombian and her father is of English descent. She has an older sister named Brigitte. Fluent in Spanish and a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Underwood attended Mountain Lakes High School. She also studied neuroscience at Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York, with a focus on diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Underwood's first TV role was in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and she auditioned for the lead in Hannah Montana.
