Bronagh Gallagher, born on April 26, 1972, is an Irish singer and actress from Northern Ireland. She began her acting career with a role in the 1989 television movie Dear Sarah and has since made a name for herself in the industry. Gallagher was listed at number 33 on The Irish Times' list of Ireland's greatest film actors in 2020. She got involved in drama and music during her teenage years and joined the Oakgrove Theatre Company. Gallagher's breakthrough came when she portrayed Bernie in The Commitments (1991), and she went on to have roles in various films, including Pulp Fiction (1994) and Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999).
