Brooke Alexander Biography
Brooke Alexander (born December 13, 1963) is an American actress best known for her role as con-artist Samantha Markham in the soap opera As the World Turns (1994–1996). Born in Kailua, Hawaii, she attended the University of California, Los Angeles. Alexander was crowned Miss Hawaii World in 1980 and later became Miss World America, placing sixth runner-up in the 1980 Miss World pageant. In addition to her role on As the World Turns, she has appeared in various television shows including Magnum, P.I., Island Son, P.S. I Luv U, Tattingers, and One Life to Live. She has also worked as a host on CNN and Fox News, and from 2006 to 2007, she hosted the lifestyle television program "Real Simple" based on the magazine of the same name.
