Brooke Baldwin is an American journalist, television host, and author. Born on July 12, 1979, in Atlanta, Georgia, she attended The Westminster Schools before graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with bachelor's degrees in Spanish and journalism. She began her career in 2001 at WVIR-TV in Charlottesville, Virginia, and later worked as a morning anchor at WOWK-TV. Baldwin joined WTTG in Washington, D.C., as a lead reporter before joining CNN in 2008. She hosted CNN Newsroom with Brooke Baldwin, a weekday show that aired from 3pm to 4pm ET. Her tenure at CNN lasted until 2021.
