Brooke Elliott

Brooke Elliott is an American actress and singer, born on November 16, 1974, in Fridley, Minnesota. She gained recognition for her roles in musical theatre, including performances in the US tours of Beauty and the Beast and Wicked, as well as Broadway productions such as Taboo and The Pirate Queen. Elliott is best known for portraying Jane Bingum in the Lifetime series Drop Dead Diva from 2009 to 2014. She currently stars as Dana Sue Sullivan in the Netflix romantic drama Sweet Magnolias since 2020. Elliott's passion for singing started at a young age, with her family witnessing her talent from as early as three years old. She has a sister named Jamie Alexander and a brother named Adam Elliott. After moving several times, her family settled in Riverview, Michigan, where she completed her high school education at Gabriel Richard Catholic High School.
