Brooke Ashley Lyons (born November 8, 1980) is an American actress known for her roles in movies and TV shows. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Amy in the 2008 film Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins and Peach Landis in the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls. Lyons was born in Washington, D.C., and is the daughter of surgeon James R. Lyons and dancer Penny A. Lyons. She grew up in Fairfield and New Haven, Connecticut, and showed a passion for both dancing and horse riding during her youth. After being diagnosed with scoliosis, she shifted her focus to dance and underwent a surgery to correct her spine. Lyons also founded a theater group while studying at Yale University.
