Brooks Wheelan is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and podcaster. He gained recognition as a cast member and writer for the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live during the 2013–2014 season. Wheelan currently hosts the podcast Entry Level. He has appeared in various movies and shows, including Big Hero 6: The Series, and has opened for John Oliver. Born on August 21, 1986, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Wheelan grew up in Manchester. He developed an interest in science and mathematics, and graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in biomedical engineering. Wheelan started performing stand-up comedy in his late teens, beginning in Iowa and then moving to Kansas City, Chicago, and eventually Los Angeles.
