Bruce Adler

Bruce Adler (November 27, 1944 – July 25, 2008) was an American Broadway actor known for his notable stage performances. He made his Broadway debut in the 1979 revival of Oklahoma! and went on to have a successful career. Adler was nominated for Tony Awards for his roles in Those Were the Days (1991) and Crazy For You (1992). While his film work was limited to voice acting in animated films, he gained recognition for providing the singing voice for the peddler in the 1992 Disney film Aladdin and its sequel. Born in New York City, Adler came from a family of well-established stars in the Yiddish theatre and started performing at a young age.
