Bruce Glover Biography
Bruce Herbert Glover (born May 2, 1932) is an American character actor known for his portrayal of the assassin Mr. Wint in the James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever. He is the father of actor Crispin Glover. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Glover served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955, including a six-month deployment in Korea. He began his acting career with numerous appearances on television shows such as My Favorite Martian, Perry Mason, The Rat Patrol, and Mission: Impossible. In 1971, Glover gained recognition for his role as Mr. Wint in Diamonds Are Forever, alongside Putter Smith as Mr. Kidd.
