Bruce Randall Hornsby (born November 23, 1954) is an American singer-songwriter and pianist known for his eclectic music style that draws from folk rock, jazz, bluegrass, Southern rock, and more. He gained recognition as the lead singer of Bruce Hornsby and the Range, winning a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1987. Hornsby has a total of three Grammy Awards, including Best Bluegrass Recording in 1990 and Best Pop Instrumental Performance in 1994. He has collaborated with various artists and bands, including Ricky Skaggs and the Grateful Dead. As of 2022, he has released 23 albums, with his latest release being 'Flicted.'
