Bruce Lanoil Biography
Bruce Lanoil (born July 5, 1960) is an American puppeteer known for his work with The Jim Henson Company and The Walt Disney Company. With a career spanning over three decades, Lanoil has appeared in various films and television shows since 1986. He collaborated closely with puppeteer David Alan Barclay and performed notable characters such as the Cat in the Hat and Fox in Socks in the first season of The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss. Lanoil has also worked on projects including The Muppets, Where the Wild Things Are, Dr. Dolittle, Jack Frost, The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, and Cats & Dogs. Additionally, he served as an on-set animation reference puppeteer and voice actor for Monkeybone and Looney Tunes: Back in Action. Lanoil is well-known for his voice double work as Timon from The Lion King for Disney, providing the character's voice in various media such as Kingdom Hearts II, Disney Think Fast, and Disney's Wild About Safety shorts.
