Bruce Ian McCulloch is a Canadian actor, comedian, writer, musician, and film director. He is best known for his work as a member of the comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall, including starring in the TV series of the same name. McCulloch was also a writer for Saturday Night Live. He has appeared on other series such as Twitch City and Gilmore Girls. As a director, he has helmed films like Dog Park, Stealing Harvard, and Superstar. McCulloch is the creator and head writer of the 2007-2008 ABC sitcom Carpoolers. Born on May 12, 1961, in Edmonton, Alberta, McCulloch attended Strathcona Composite High School and later Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School in Calgary. He is a graduate of Mount Royal University in Calgary.
