Walter Bruce Willis, born on March 19, 1955, is a retired American actor who gained fame for his role in the comedy-drama series Moonlighting (1985–1989). He is best known as an action hero for portraying John McClane in the Die Hard franchise (1988–2013). Willis has appeared in over a hundred films, including notable credits like Pulp Fiction (1994), 12 Monkeys (1995), The Sixth Sense (1999), and Moonrise Kingdom (2012). In addition to acting, Willis released his debut album, The Return of Bruno, as a singer. In recent years, he starred in lower-budget direct-to-video films. Unfortunately, in March 2022, Willis announced his retirement due to aphasia, and in February 2023, he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.
