Bryan Kirkwood

Bryan Kirkwood is a British television producer, born in November 1975. He gained recognition as the producer of the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks from 2006 to 2009. Kirkwood was also the executive producer of the BBC soap EastEnders from 2010 to 2012 and returned to Hollyoaks as executive producer in 2012, leaving again in March 2021. In 2022, he rejoined EastEnders as a writer. Prior to his work on Hollyoaks, Kirkwood served as a storyliner for ITV's Coronation Street. During his tenure on Hollyoaks, the show received critical acclaim for its storylines, including the memorable John Paul McQueen and Craig Dean relationship and the explosive Dog at the Pond incident.
