Buck Kartalian Biography
Vahe 'Buck' Kartalian (August 13, 1922 – May 24, 2016) was an American professional wrestler and character actor. Born in Detroit, Michigan to Armenian immigrants, Kartalian moved to New York City at a young age. He served in the United States Navy during World War II before pursuing a career in bodybuilding and professional wrestling. After catching the attention of Broadway producers, he transitioned into acting and appeared in plays such as One More River and Romeo and Juliet. Throughout his career, Kartalian appeared in over 70 films and television shows. He passed away on May 24, 2016.
