Buck Showalter

William Nathaniel 'Buck' Showalter III (born May 23, 1956) is an American professional baseball manager. He has managed several Major League Baseball teams including the New York Yankees (1992–1995), Arizona Diamondbacks (1998–2000), Texas Rangers (2003–2006), Baltimore Orioles (2010–2018), and New York Mets (2022–2023). Showalter also had a career as a Minor League Baseball player and worked as a television analyst for ESPN and the YES Network. Known for his ability to turn teams into postseason contenders quickly, Showalter led the Yankees and Diamondbacks to success before leaving just prior to their World Series wins. As of 2022, Showalter has not appeared in a World Series as a manager.
