Bunny Gibson

Kathleen Elizabeth Gibson, better known as Bunny Gibson, is an actress and former regular dancer on the American Bandstand television program. Born on January 19, 1946, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Gibson grew up in Darby, Pennsylvania near Philadelphia. She attended several Catholic schools in the Philadelphia area and graduated from Northeast High School. As a teenager, she became a regular dancer on American Bandstand from 1959 to 1961, earning the nickname 'American Bandstand's Sweetheart.' In addition to her dance career, Gibson studied acting in New York with renowned teachers such as Warren Robertson, Stella Adler, and Herbert Berghof.
