Busta Rhymes

Busta Rhymes, born Trevor George Smith Jr. on May 20, 1972, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He gained fame as an original member of the group Leaders of the New School, and gained national attention when they opened for Public Enemy on tour. Busta Rhymes received his moniker from Chuck D of Public Enemy, who named him after NFL and CFL wide receiver George 'Buster' Rhymes. He has been nominated for 12 Grammy Awards, establishing himself as one of the most-nominated artists without winning. Busta Rhymes is known for his energetic and fast-paced rapping style, and has collaborated with numerous artists throughout his career.
