Byron Chief-Moon Biography
Byron Chief-Moon is an Aboriginal Canadian actor, choreographer, dancer, playwright, and founder of the Coyote Arts Percussive Performance Association. Born in Carlsbad, California, he is a member of the Kainai Nation of the Blackfoot Confederacy in southern Alberta. Chief-Moon has appeared in various American and Canadian TV shows, including MacGyver, North of 60, Stargate SG-1, Da Vinci's Inquest, Highlander: The Series, and Walker, Texas Ranger. He has also acted in feature films such as Disney's White Fang 2: Myth of the White Wolf. Known for his dance theatre pieces like Possessed, Dancing voices and Voices, and Jonesing, Chief-Moon has also worked as a choreographer on documentaries and dance films. He portrayed the Quileute chief Taha Aki in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
