C. David Johnson, born Christopher David Johnson on November 29, 1955, is a Canadian actor known for his role as Chuck Tchobanian on the TV series Street Legal. Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Johnson attended Stanstead College, the University of New Brunswick, and the Vancouver Playhouse Acting School. His breakthrough came in 1987 when he landed the leading role on Street Legal, which became one of the most successful TV series in Canadian history, running for eight years. Johnson received four consecutive Gemini nominations for Best Performance by an Actor in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role. He has also appeared in the family series Mysterious Island and the feature film Thanks of a Grateful Nation.
