Caitlin Clarke

Caitlin Clarke (May 3, 1952 – September 9, 2004) was an American theater and film actress. She gained recognition for her role as Valerian in the 1981 fantasy film Dragonslayer. Clarke also portrayed Charlotte Cardoza in the Broadway musical Titanic from 1998 to 1999. Born as Katherine Anne Clarke in Pittsburgh, she grew up with four sisters and moved to Sewickley at the age of ten. Clarke earned her B.A. in theater arts from Mount Holyoke College in 1974 and her M.F.A. from the Yale School of Drama in 1978. She had a successful career in both theater and film, including a notable appearance in the 1986 film Crocodile Dundee as Simone.
