Caitlin Dickerson is an American journalist known for her work in immigration reporting. She currently works as a reporter for The Atlantic, covering immigration issues. Prior to her role at The Atlantic, she was a national reporter for The New York Times and an investigative reporter for NPR. Dickerson has also served as a political analyst for CNN. She gained recognition for her 2015 Peabody Award-winning special series on the testing of mustard gas on American troops during WWII. In addition, she is a recipient of the Pulitzer Prize in 2023. Dickerson began her career as an intern at NPR and later worked as a producer before joining the Investigations Desk.
