Cameron Kasky

Cameron Kasky is an American activist and advocate against gun violence. Born on November 11, 2000, he is known for co-founding the student-led gun violence prevention advocacy group Never Again MSD. Kasky gained national recognition for his role in organizing the March for Our Lives student protest in March 2018. As a survivor of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in February 2018, he became a prominent voice in the movement. Kasky was featured in Time magazine's '100 Most Influential People of 2018'. Prior to his activism, Kasky was a student and theater enthusiast at his high school and had plans to attend Columbia University before dropping out.
