Candice Swanepoel

Candice Susan Swanepoel (born October 20, 1988) is a South African model known for her work with Victoria's Secret. She became a Victoria's Secret Angel in 2010 and was listed 8th on the Forbes top-earning models list in 2016. Swanepoel was born to Willem and Eileen Swanepoel and raised on a farm in Mooi River, South Africa. She comes from an Afrikaner family of Dutch origin, with her father being from Mutare, Zimbabwe, and her mother being South African. Swanepoel was a ballet dancer growing up and was discovered by a model scout at the age of 15. She has appeared in various international editions of Vogue, Elle, and other fashion magazines.
