Carl Bernstein

Carl Bernstein, born on February 14, 1944, is an American investigative journalist and author. He gained prominence as a young reporter for The Washington Post in 1972 when he and Bob Woodward extensively covered the Watergate scandal. Their reporting on the scandal led to government investigations and eventually the resignation of President Richard Nixon. Since then, Bernstein's career has focused on the theme of the use and abuse of power through books and magazine articles. He has also provided reporting for television and offered opinion commentary. Bernstein has authored or co-authored seven books, including the acclaimed 'All the President's Men' and 'A Woman in Charge: The Life of Hillary Rodham Clinton.'
